How does access equipment work?
When making a monthly subscription booking, you may require access equipment to enter and exit your space!
What is access equipment?
Access equipment are tools required to gain access to your booked location.
These could include
- A key card
- A fob
- A key
How do I obtain access equipment?
If your space requires access equipment, this will be detailed in your post booking instructions. These will be emailed to you once your booking has been confirmed.
What if I lose my access equipment?
In the middle of the tenancy
The cost of replacing the equipment will be deducted from your deposit and provided to the Space Owner. We will inform you of the total cost via email.
We may ask that a payment be made to replace the monies used to purchase the equipment, and bring your deposit back to the original amount.
At the end of the tenancy
If the loss occurs at the end of the tenancy, we will deduct the cost of the replacement equipment from your deposit and return any leftover monies.
When will I receive my deposit back once returning access equipment?
Once we have received confirmation from you, and the Space Owner that all access equipment has been returned and the space vacated, we will release your deposit back to you.
This can take up to 5 - 10 days to appear in your bank.
How do I return access equipment?
Access equipment must be returned in full working condition to the space owner within 48 hours of the booking end date.
It is the drivers responsibility to contact the space owner to ensure the safe return of any equipment. Failing to do so may result in the charge of an access equipment replacement fee.
