How do I get paid my earnings?

 

YourParkingSpace offers two options when it comes to receiving payment for your earnings: Paypal or Bank Transfer. 

To receive earnings, set up your payment preference in your Space Owner account. YourParkingSpace deducts a 3% processing fee.

Selecting PayPal as your payment method incurs a platform fee. Charges may vary - consult PayPal for the latest rates.

 

What do I need to do to qualify for a payment?

 

We can't pay you if we don't have your details. Make sure you've added your payment preferences before the payment run. To be on the safe side we recommend adding your details as soon as you create your listing! Click here for details on how to add or change your payout details.

 

Payments are only made once a month, so if you miss the monthly payment run you'll have to wait until the following month. This means that if you haven't added your bank details before the payment date, you will need to wait for next month.

 

HMRC Reporting

To comply with the OECD and HMRC regulatory requirements, we need to collect certain information from our users, which ensures that our platform aligns with legal and tax obligations. Payments are conditional upon sufficient tax information being provided to YPS - for more information, please see here.

When do I get paid my earnings?

 

Earnings for the month are automatically processed on the first business day of the following month at 7pm. You'll only ever be paid for an hourly/daily booking once it's complete.


Example - If the booking is from 31/03/2025 10:00 - 02/04/2025 20:00 you will receive payment on the first business day in May.


Monthly bookings are paid on the first business day of each month for the period used. This means your first month and last month are typically less than a full month’s rent, unless the booking starts on the first and ends on the last day of the month.


Example - If the booking is from 12/03/2025 00:00 - 11/04/2025 23:59 you will receive a pro rata payment from 12th - 31st March and the last payment will be calculated from 1st - 11th April.


If you do not receive payment on this date and time, please allow up to 5 working days for payment to clear in your account before contacting Customer Success.

Our Finance and Customer Success departments are separate, and until the payment run is completed only the Finance team has access to the specifics of payments made. This means that as much as we'd love to help, we are unable to take a deep dive into the details of your payments until after this time.


Please note that no payments are made on a bank holiday. If a payment date falls on a bank holiday, earnings will be paid the following business day.
