Why should I not accept payment off the platform?

All parking bookings and arrangements introduced through YourParkingSpace must be made through the YourParkingSpace platform.

Our Terms & Conditions prohibit Space Owners and Drivers from arranging parking outside of the YourParkingSpace Online Service, including entering into a separate arrangement for parking that was introduced through our platform.

Keeping your bookings and payments on YourParkingSpace means you can continue to benefit from the protections and services provided through our platform, including our booking and payment processes and, where applicable, our security deposit scheme.

If a Driver asks to arrange payment or future parking directly with you, please ask them to make the booking through YourParkingSpace instead.

This helps ensure that the booking is properly recorded and that the appropriate support and protections remain available to both Drivers and Space Owners.
