Why was I charged twice for my booking?
Although it may seem like you were charged twice for your booking, you in fact were charged the same amount for two separate purposes; deposit and rent.
Most monthly bookings are subject to deposit which is the value of one months rent. This is paid by the Driver when they book the parking space. The deposit is fully refundable provided that any access equipment is returned to the Owner no later than the final day of the booking and there is no outstanding rent due.
The first month's rent is paid on the start date of the booking. This day of the month becomes the default billing date for the rolling-monthly booking.
Whilst it may look like you’ve paid twice for the one booking, these two charges are for separate purposes and outlined in the Parking Contract.
