Should I take a deposit?
We don't permit Space Owner's to take a deposit because we’ve got you covered!
We take a deposit for monthly bookings on all private locations, and any locations that require access equipment. All deposits are equal to one months rent and are be held by YourParkingSpace until the booking end date.
I need to claim money from the deposit, how do I do this?
When will the driver receive their deposit back?
Can I take a deposit for short term bookings?
Can I take my own deposit?
In a word - no.
Asking a driver to pay a deposit at the time of booking is against YourParkingSpace policy.
To ensure you are covered, we will take and hold a deposit on your behalf for all long term bookings. The deposit taken will be equal to one months rent.
I need to claim money from the deposit, how do I do this?
If your property, or access equipment has been damaged, you can cover the cost of damages from the deposit.
To do this, please provide the receipt of payment for the expense to us. You can do this by contacting us here.
You should receive the money back within 5-10 working days.
When will the driver receive their deposit back?
Please be rest assured that we will only return the deposit back to drivers once we have received confirmation that all access equipment has been returned in good condition, and the driver has vacated the space.
If we do not receive confirmation from you within 48 hours of the booking ending, or within 48 hours of YourParkingSpace requesting confirmation, we will automatically release the deposit back to the driver.
Can I take a deposit for short term bookings?
Deposits are not required for short-term bookings.
As per our guidelines, locations that require access equipment should only be listed for monthly rentals.
