Why do I have to pay a deposit for monthly spaces?

We take a deposit when you reserve a monthly parking space which is equal to one month's rent.  

This is used to cover the cost of any access equipment such as a permit or key fob. It is also usually used to cover the last month's rent after we receive 30 days' termination notice.

We hold the deposit for the duration of the tenancy so please don't worry that this money is lost. Once the rental is over, we'll refund this back to you less the cost of any pro-rata parking as soon as you confirm that you've left the parking space and returned any access equipment.
